News Update - 8th October 2012


- The current president Hugo Chavez has been re-elected as the Venezuelan president.

- George Osborne is looking very closely at the benefits budget with proposed further cuts of up to £10 billion at the same time rating out a levy on high value properties.

- Mark Bridger will be in court today he has been charged with the murder of April Jones who is still missing.

- 40 years of the TV show Emmerdale hits a mile stone it will have a 1 hour programme of the show on the 17th October 2012.

- There was more exchanges between Turkey and Syrian troops when Turkish artillery returned fire.

- Cameron said he would veto EU budget if necessary.
