News Update - 18th October 2012

1 - Syrians disappear, with an estimated 28000 people missing. Apparently taken by soldiers or groups of militants. Avaaz a activist group said would like to present to UN human rights council, what it describes as a deliberate campaign of terror by the Syrian government.


2. Gas and electricity company suppliers may have to offer their clients the lowest tariff if David Cameron plans are implemented.


3. The UK is facing a big rise in human trafficking with gangs from China Eastern Europe Nigeria making people slaves for work and sex.


4. Leaders dealing with the Euro zone crisis will be focusing on the problems at a summit taking place in Brussels over the next 2 days. With the ever growing problem of the Euro zone banking facilities Germany is urging EU states to consider calling for more economic severities.


5. The Chinese economy is slowing down in the latest quarter figures this is based mainly on the Euro zone European crisis, however in Hong Kong Hang Fung stocks grows to 0.7% and in Shanghai climb to 1.2%.
