1). Allegations about Sir Jimmy Saville continue when he was a presenter at the BBC, who are now investigating the possible abuse of five women when they were children.
2). Ed Milliband delivered his speech to the faithful at the Labour party conference claiming that Labour would work towards being one nation. The speech seemed to go down well with the party but somehow for me, it didn't have the passion or drive of a future prime minister.
3). April Jones is still missing after the arrest of a 46 year old man. Search and rescue teams and volunteers are looking along river banks and woodland areas to try and find April. The community have all pulled together to try and locate the little girl and continue to do so.
4). The latest report on the Beta Blocker drug apparently do very little to reduce heart attacks or strokes according to scientists and by taking them people are no less likely to die of a heart attack than if they didn't.
