- A new treaty regarding the internet is being discussed in
Dubai attended by 193 countries. Google states that such events threatened the
"open internet" and the EU said that the current system works well.
- A tunnel in Japan collapsed killing 9 people after
concrete panels fell in and started a fire in the Sasago tunnel. The Government
have ordered immediate inspection of all road tunnels across the
country.
