Dr James Flanagan of Imperial College London, could predict breast cancer years before any diagnosed problems by a genetic test.
The test looks at how genes are altered by hormones, alcohol and environment, the concept is called Epigentic.
Research has indicated that as many as one in five women is thought to have a genetic "switch" that could double breast cancer risk.
